Office Visit Policies

In-Person Sessions Are Available!

Face masks are no longer required for in-office sessions unless if the client or the therapist requests them. In addition to in-office visits, we are able to facilitate Telehealth sessions upon request. We request that clients who are feeling sick opt for a Telehealth session.

While most insurances cover Telehealth, it’s still our clients’ responsibility to contact their insurance providers and ensure there is no preauthorization required and that their plan covers Telehealth. Some insurances that were covering Telehealth sessions during the recent pandemic have since stopped. Please check with your insurance provider before scheduling a Telehealth appointment.

Play Therapy AT Home

One empirically proven method of play therapy is to have parents facilitate the process at home with a telehealth therapist’s support. If an individual would benefit from play therapy, but there are concerns about coming into the office, we have an alternative approach—Filial Therapy.
