Lorna Olson

ACMHC

Lorna earned her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Development through Utah State University. She pursued the clinical mental health counselor track and enjoys working with children, youth, adults, couples, and families to help them discover their own best life journey.

Lorna primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients build greater awareness and intentionally work toward improving their mental health. Her therapeutic approach includes an understanding of how genetics, trauma, and the innate human need for safety influence behavior and emotional well-being. This perspective allows her to meet clients with empathy and insight, guiding them toward healing and resilience.

Outside of work, Lorna enjoys an active lifestyle and values quality time with her family. She loves the rural outdoors, hiking, gardening, cooking, reading, and simply having fun with her loved ones.
