Amber Paul

ACMHC

Amber graduated with her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Fort Hays State University. Her desire to help others and her love of the field stems from her journey of self-discovery and healing. She is passionate about learning and always seeks to expand her knowledge and treatment modalities. She is trained in Play Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Domestic Violence. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults.

Amber offers a calm, inviting space for healing and a greater understanding of oneself. She believes that mental health is closely linked to physical health, and she promotes body awareness in the healing process. She thrives on organization, and her theoretical framework includes a client-centered approach that uses experiential therapy, positive psychology, acceptance and commitment theory, and Jungian play therapy. She enjoys being active, cooking, and the outdoors in her free time, specifically kayaking, scuba diving, and running. A favorite of hers includes traveling and exploring new places and adventures with her husband and children.
