The Journey’s Sunray Family Counseling Center started seven years ago. Since that time it has served hundreds of individuals and families. Our clinic specializes in children, adolescents and women, however we address a variety of other needs and populations. The center employs 14 therapists in three locations, and several administrative staff. Our clinicians are trained in Play Therapy, Sandtray, Art Interventions, EMDR, CBT, DBT, EFT and other modalities.
We are the largest provider for children in Central Utah.
It is our goal to provide quality care in our rural settings. The clinic has an office in Ephraim Utah to serve Sanpete county, another in Richfield serving Sevier county, and an office in Cedar City serving Iron county. Our clinicians receive much specialized training for to provide the best quality of care possible.
The Journey’s Counseling Centers were founded by Clinical Director Rachel Allen, and though the clinic has since separated from it’s parent company, it continues to be owned and operated by her. With a new name change of Sunray Family Counseling, the center has taken a step forward by expanding. We have also started to encourage more wellness for the community by developing special Wellness Programs such as Yoga, Infant Massage, Women’s Empowerment, and free Self-Defense Classes. The new name, Sunray Family Counseling, is symbolic for the hope that treatment can bring for individuals and families.
